The "Tossed Salad Days" 12" LP was released in England by Rejected Records. They had contacted us about doing a limited LP (300 on Blue Vinyl).

They had released record by Knifed (the guy who owned the labels band), UK Subs, Limp Wrist, Blood or Whiskey...so we were in great company.

We compiled a sort of "Best of" LP of 14 Tracks which mixed some of the tracks from the "Want More Dudes" Session and tracks from the "Dongs We Bury" Session.

Calling it a "Best of" is a bit of a stretch since many of the tracks released on that LP are exclusive to that LP. Those 6 "exclusive" tracks are listed above.

I think this was a great mix of older stuff (that had never been released and had been remastered) and new stuff. We were more comfortable in the studio, we experimented more...and ....we cared less.

Youth of Togay is a band, and it isn't a band. When we step into the studio we become a band and when we leave we never know if it'll be the last time. It is very freeing. All of these tracks reflect that freedom.

Alot of bands get bogged down in merchandise sales and touring and pressure and expectation...we never have and never will suffer from any of those things.

Also, I really enjoyed drawing the artwork for this album. I enjoyed it so much that I have done all of the illustrations for the band since then. I'm a pretty decent doodler and I think the layout for this LP is really whimsical and fun.
